8th June 2014

I couldn't resist, I just love black. Even if its summer. With the kimono I really love this festival boho look.

BLACK SUMMER

8th June 2014

This is my favourite time of year - Festival season.
I have already been to my first festival - We are festival. Which was pretty awesome. Lots of different dj's were playing, we had jamie jones, MK and Knife party. At first it was raining but then later in the day the sun came out. Was a big group of us which was really fun and it was a great vibe.

Here is my look of today. Loving the boho look and got some great fashion inspiration from celebs.
Kylie and Kendall Jenner are 2 of my biggest inspirations at the moment; they know exactly how to rock an outfit.

Whether its at a festival or an awards ceramony they really know how to dress.

Recently in the press Alex Gerrard was seen in Portugal looking amazing as always. I have my eye on her sunglasses the moment I saw the photos.
Havent tracked down the exact pair but managed to bag some similar ones on ebay.

Below is a outfit build that is perfect for this time of year. Inspiration from both celebs.

Bag - Primark £12.00

LONDON FASHION WEEKEND

Had the privilege to work at London Fashion Weekend, backstage.  Helping with dressing the models and making sure everything went smoothly. It was a great experience and the models where so lovely.
Here are a few photos backstage, unfortunately didn't bring my camera but took a few on my phone. It was amazing to have the opportunity to dress Amanda Ware (may recognise her from Australia's Next Top Model).

London fashion weekend was a public event, each day was different according to what designer we had as there was a designer show each day as well depending on your ticket. In between was collections of SS14 with designers from Alexander Wang to Stella McCartney, it was called the 'Trend show'. Each model had to get into 4 different outfits. Some of them were amazing.

Cant wait for next season already.
If you want any advice on interning I don't mind answering any questions you guys have.

LFW update

Day three of London Fashion Week. Watched the Topshop Unique live show today from the famous Tate Modern, with Kendal Jenner, Anna Wintour, Philip Green and Kate Moss on FROW and of corse the face of Topshop; Jordan Dunn strutting her stuff on the catwalk. With shades of brown, blue and warn textures walking up and down the runway, it has to be one of my favourite shows.

After watching House of Holland show yesterday it would have to be one of my top 3 favourite shows of the season so far. Its not even summer yet but this gets me excited for next winter already. The patterns that Henry uses are amazing!
Here are a few of my favourite looks from the show which I copied from ELLE MAGAZINE. Go on ElleUK for more...

Got some great news last week - have been asked to work backstage at London Fashion Weekend which is next weekend. I am super lucky to have this opportunity and will update you guys when I am there so watch out for a post.

OOTD.

Had a few different outfits that I loved this week and wanted to show you what you can put together even if you only have a few pounds in your bank.
I went out last weekend and had a little try on before the evening ended up choosing a completely different (obviously black) outfit but loved these two.

DEEP V NECK

Recently I have love the deep low V neck line on dresses. Having watched Wes Gordon AW14 Show a few of pieces were low v neck line which I loved. Miss guided is great and I found a few dresses which I love. One being the black one I have got on in the picture below. Comfortable and stylish and for under £10.00 its a bargain.

Have a look on www.missguided.co.uk for more amazing V neck pieces.

PVC INSPIRATION.

NYFW is happening right now. I have watched some amazing shows. Due to my work commitments haven't been able to work this season.
Yesterday I watched Marc Jacobs AW14 show and what a show it was!! I was waiting for a designer to bring out some PVC and he did it.
The show was incredible and go onto www.marcjacobs.com to watch the show.

My insperation from the show was the baby pink PVC skirt, as seen on a quite a few celebs recently.

Silk Top; Topshop Boutique £55.00
Left Skirt; Missguided £19.99
Right Skirt; ASOS £38.00
Shoes; Zara £39.99
Bag; Topshop £65.00

This mood board is the ideal outfit that I would put together with this skirt. Single strap shoes from Zara are such a classic finish to the outfit and perfect for an evening out. I bought a pair for myself and live in them; surprisingly comfortable! This leather/ suede bag from Topshop is a very popular bag at the moment, perfect size and will go with most things.
Topshop Boutique is one of my favourite brands at the moment, the clothes are amazing quality that just slip on and fit so well. I would recommend looking online or in a flagship store (for example Oxford Circus)for further pieces.
